GitBounty Terms of Service

Effective Date: April 14th 2025

Welcome to GitBounty! By using our platform, you agree to the following terms:

1. Off-Session Charges Authorization

By using GitBounty, you authorize us to debit your connected payment method for any platform-related charges, including off-session payments (i.e., when you are not actively using the app). This includes bounties you’ve committed to and fees associated with platform services.

2. Revoking App Authorization

You may revoke GitBounty's access to your GitHub or payment provider account at any time. Revoking access may limit or prevent your ability to use the platform and may impact any active bounties or contributions.

GitBounty also reserves the right to revoke your access to the platform at any time, at its sole discretion, including in cases of policy violations, abuse, or security concerns.

3. No Refunds

All payments made on GitBounty are non-refundable, including but not limited to bounty commitments, platform fees, and disbursements. Please review bounty details carefully before confirming any payment.

4. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

In the event of a dispute—whether regarding bounty fulfillment, payment issues, or project disagreements—you agree to abide by the decision of GitBounty's internal arbitration process. This decision will be final and binding.

5. Issue Assignment and Cooperation

Developers assigned to issues are expected to communicate and collaborate in good faith. GitBounty and repository managers reserve the right to unassign a developer from an issue if they are deemed unresponsive, uncooperative, or otherwise not progressing the work in a reasonable manner.

6. Limitation of Liability

GitBounty is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, GitBounty and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost profits, data loss, or business interruption.
